We are back(our money is still there, but we are back!) Disney World is AMAZING! I can hardly choose which pictures to post, there are so many great ones. With Lucy's past record of her Santa and Easter Bunny visits we were not sure how the character greetings would go and to our surprise, she LOVED them, she couldn't get enough of seeing them. On the flip side, she was not so thrilled about meeting the princesses and fairies, which we thought for sure would be a hit since she loves Tinker Bell. Grandma Buni waited in the Fairy line for an hour just to see Lucy scream and pout when we tried to get her to say hello. Oh well, Daddy thinks those are some of the best photo moments(see picture with princess Aurora.) The parades....I cannot say enough about the parades, it turned all of us into a kid again(even Shawn, see picture with ears.) One of our not so great events was the Bugs Life Adventure, as you can see in the picture that Lucy has 3D glasses on, she is about to get scared out of her mind, which in turn made her REFUSE to go into any indoor show after that. We also stayed at the Nick Hotel, so that Lucy could meet the Dora/Diego crew....that kind of went like the princesses. Good news was that they had a life size plastic Dora outside that she couldn't get enough of. The other plus about the hotel for Lucy was the pool...yep, our little fish LOVED the pool. Following in Aunt Julie's footsteps, she is a daredevil and went down the slides by herself and was already jumping in, it was awesome to see her swimming...summer is going to be fun!
Okay one more funny story...
One day, I broke down with my prego body and rented a motorized cart. It was embarrassing most of the time, but good for me to get a rest. Anyway, at one point in the day I took Lucy on a ride and left my cart outside where Grandma Buni turned it into her sun chair. Now, if you look at the picture closely you will see that because the cart was parked in the middle of the walkway, most people that saw her, thought she might be dead. Shawn captured the moment on film, thank goodness, and we laughed the rest of the time about the picture.
To finish I just want to say that Disney is worth every penny to see and experience, at 34 I could hardly catch my breath walking in, I was so excited to see it, and it was even better than I imagined. It is a go go go vacation and I hope everyone gets a chance to do it once in their life. I am so lucky that I was there with my daughter, my hubby and my mummy, it was perfect. :) p.s. I also gained at least a pound a day, the treats are SOOO good and irresistible, so if you are going, pack your expandable clothes!
