inside out

I know I am tired and I know I look tired, but I never thought it would come to this... today I wore my sweater inside out.  Yes, I said sweater!  A sweater that is navy blue with an embroidered red heart with a white tag at the neck and a white tag on the side.  No, I have not just been home, today I ran a few places...Walmart, JoAnn's, REI, picked up Violet from school and the mail post.  As you can see ALL of those places have several people that saw me.  Were they too afraid to tell a tired momma that her sweater was on inside out?  It is winter, to bad I didn't have a coat on to cover it up!  LOL Thought it was fitting to post a picture of Ray with this blog, since he the reason I am sleep deprived.  This is my stinker at church Sunday. Hope you all are having a wonderful start to the holiday!

Day 1 - ground breaking

Well, we have finally started building our house!  Today we broke ground, Violet said, "Mom, see that truck? They are digging a house."  So smart at 3 years old, so that is how we told the kids...Violet is right, they are digging a house, OUR house!  The bus pulled up just as we were standing there to let the kids off from school and a little boy in Lucy's class lives on the cul-de-sac!  It was also great to find out the bus stop is at our front door, yipppee!  So, it will be next year before I post that we are moving, but it will be a fun adventure a new chapter for us, we are so excited!

Violet's 1st day of Preschool!

Violet started Preschool today at St. Mark's in Carmel.  She was so excited and had a super day.  We are so proud of her!

Lucy-1st day of kindergarten

Lucy started kindergarten yesterday!  It was a big day for Lucy, she was so excited and did great.  Mommy had a tough day missing her(crying), wondering what she was doing, if she was making friends and if she would remember to eat and use her manners.  She did not give us many details when she got home, but we got a few things out of her.  Today she went in smiling again!

Ray's Surf Shop

I know a lot of you have been waiting to see the pictures from Ray's Surf Shop birthday party, sorry my post is so late.  Here is our little surfer dude celebrating his 1st birthday.  There are not any messy cake eating pictures because he didn't eat his cake!  Nope, his hand slammed down into it and he started to cry until we took it away, we tried again and he it just continued to upset him.  Not to worry, we will be making sure he gets cake soon and the boy LOVES ice cream, so we know he has a sweet tooth!  Ray is weighing in at 22 pounds and over 38 inches tall!  "DaDa," is still his favorite word and he is working very hard on walking.  If he could talk, I would guess he would tell you his favorite things are his sisters.  :))

Happy 1st Birthday Ray!

Our sweet boy Ray turned ONE today!  He has been smiling for a year!  Ray is close to walking and hopefully sleeping through the night!  :)  Thank you all for making this a super year for our baby boy!

Violet's 3rd birthday!

Our sweet Violet turned 3 last week!  She asked for a Thomas Train party, so we had that on her birthday and then her Grandma's and Grandpa's road with her on the pizza train Saturday.  It was such a great week for Violet, she is so much fun!

July...

We have had a busy start to July as most of you...Ray turned 11 months, 4th of July was fun at home with sparklers, mommy turned 38 and had a fun dinner at the Kopper Kettle and Lucy lost her first tooth July 7th!  Hope you are all staying cool!

Summer at the beach

I took the kids to my Mom's last week for a summer break, it was wonderful.  Good mother daughter time and a good break with my babies.  We went out one day to see Winter, the dolphin with no tail, it was amazing to see and learn so much at the Clearwater Aquarium.  Anyone who has not seen the movie Dolphin Tale, watch it and then if you are ever near Clearwater, it is a must see.  Other than that we just relaxed and soaked up every second.  Bliss
