meet the teacher

Well, as most of you know, Lucy go into St. Marks Preschool! We are so excited for her. Last night was meet the teacher night for mommy and Daddy. Lucy took this picture of us before we left(which is why it is blurry.) It was fun to hear about all the fun things she is going to do at school, she will be thrilled to know they craft EVERY day! Mommy signed up to run the Christmas party, bet you could have guessed that! Lucy's teachers are right out of a preschool teacher story book, we love them, so that was a great feeling. Stay tuned for the school blogs, I am sure there will be several next week....if I can get type between the tears(this is going to be harder on mom than Lucy.)

West Park

We spent the morning at West Park, one of our favorites and I had to share these fun pictures I got of the girls. I did not plan on a wet outing when we left the house, so Lucy and Violet are running around in the water with no shoes and their street clothes on, oh well, they loved it.

State Fair

OF COURSE we have been to the fair...THREE times so far! Today we went with Grandpa and Grandma C., and this year it was NOT the hottest day of the year, it was perfect weather! Thanks for a great day!

baseball

Okay, we are still soaking up every second of summer, so I have been too tired at night to blog! Here we are last Sunday with Grandpa and Grandma C. at the baseball game. It was close to 100 degrees, but it was a blast and the girls turned the wagon into a swimming pool, so they were cool! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma, super fun day!

new rocker

Here is my new rocking chair in Violet's room...LOVE IT!
*Yes, she is one year old and I got a new rocking chair. I have gone through two antiques, they just weren't meant to be, I tried.
**Yes, she is one and I rock her to sleep twice a day.
