baby Taylor

We were so lucky today and spent the day with our friends from Denver with baby Taylor, now 5 months old! The girls loved her, especially Lucy, she was so sweet helping with her. Thanks for sharing your visit with us, we love Taylor!

swimming with PaPaw

Papaw Dave came swimming with us today! It was so much fun and PaPaw could not believe our two little fish and how great they swim! Thanks for the day Papaw!

Where's Violet?? There she is....look closely, she is in the middle of Lucy's stuffed animals! LOL! Violet is so much fun and she especially loves being in her big sister's room, even if she is stuck in a pile of stuffed animals!

Camp Kavas

We're back! I feel like we just spent a week at summer camp, and I mean that in a good way. We took the girls to my sister's for a week and it was like being at camp, we went to their town lake to swim, played in the woods until dark, had bonfires and ate entirely too many ice cream cones and s'mores.
The main reason for the trip was to celebrate Jana's 7th birthday! Jana asked for a "mermaid" party and my sister went all out, of course. It was such a great day.
Lucy and Violet loved every second of being with their cousins, I am pretty sure they are bored today with just Mom to play with.
Grandma and Grandpa C. were also there, along with Buni and Mr. Michael....so it was a packed camp with 14 of us, and we loved every minute of it. Thanks Camp Kavas, we hope to return next year!

Happy 1st Birthday Violet!

Our sweet Violet is ONE today! I am not sure where a year has gone, she is walking now and saying "Hi" and "Wow." Violet smiles so much in a day, it is so much fun to have her in our lives, we are so blessed. Happy 1st Birthday Violet!

miss suzanne's pool

Mommy's friend, Miss Suzanne, moved to a new house with a swimming pool! So, we spent our afternoon/evening there, it was a blast! Lucy has been asking and asking to jump off a diving board, so with mommy there, my fearless little fish jumped into the deep end off the diving board! I know, she is brave, I love it! Violet loved it too, check out the picture of her chilling on mommy. Thanks Miss Suzanne, we'll be happy to come by ANY day you need extra fish in the pool!
