A Royal Wedding tea party!
It was a Royal day in London and on Wintercove! Lucy's friend Lily came over and we had a Royal Wedding tea party, complete with wedding cake! The girls were adorable, at one point we found them upstairs in Lucy's closet trying on all the princess shoes. Congratulations to William & Catherine(love the dress!)

Easter in jammies
Well, you won't see a picture of my girls in there adorable Easter dresses...we spent Easter in jammies this year fighting colds. Bummer. The girls still had fun finding eggs hidden under the couch. Lucy had her first chocolate bunny, but I am pretty sure it was a little confusing to her once I broke him into pieces and ate his ears she wanted nothing to do with the guy. Hope you all enjoyed a great day! Now, enough of these April showers....bring the sunshine and flowers!

murmur update
For those of you saying prayers, Violet's murmur is "innocent!"(Good news) Today was her echo at Riley where they concluded Violet's murmur is just something that she will live with, maybe even outgrow. A murmur is when you can hear a swishing or whooshing sound of blood moving through or around the heart. Violet had to have an echo to be sure her heart was healthy and normal, and IT IS, she will live a normal life with her heart murmur. Thank you God.

3 and paci free!
My big girl turned THREE yesterday! It was a great day with a Strawberry Shortcake theme, including costume, or course. Lucy had all her grandparents at her party, she was so happy. Today she is still wearing the costume!
Oh, and the "paci free" portion of my blog title....yeah, that would be because we told her when she is three, she is done with paci's. Wish me luck.

getting big
Okay, I took some pictures today and realized how big both of my girls are getting. When Lucy lets me put her hair up, she instantly looks older, but Violet standing next to her today is now looking older too. :((( My babies are growing so fast.
We are doing something extra special each day for Lucy's "birthday week." Today we went to West Park in Carmel. Any duck lovers, you must go! There are walkways over ponds, so the ducks are literally two feet from you, and they come right up to you. Lucy went crazy. They also have a really really cool park for the kids.
Look at my girls....I am so blessed.

She SLEEPS!!
Do we look different? That's because we are, Violet slept all night in her crib! HALLELUIA!

A couple of things happened yesterday...
I will confess, we started the day with Violet crawling off the bed. Yes, it was horrible. We knew at that point something had to change. Another discovery was Violet's top two teeth we were waiting on, finally came through yesterday, finally. I prayed that would help us with the evening ahead.
We put our game plan together, we were ready to stand tough. Between 7:45 and 11:45 Violet made four attempts to wake up...next time I looked at the clock it was 6 AM, I could hardly believe it! Oh, I know tonight could be different, but at least our entire house had one night of sleeping peace for six hours straight!!
As for today, bring it on....I am ready for anything!
