The greatest gift my parents ever gave me is my sister. Last night we found out that Lucy is going to have a sister too! Yep, Baby #2 is a girl! I, of course, was crying like a baby when Jenny told us. We are so happy! Below is one ultrasound picture Jenny took, if you look just below the black area you can see baby girl's FOOT!! I am sure that it will be kicking me in the ribs very soon! :)

play time
Lucy's friend Lydia came over today for some play time...the girls both managed to get into the toy tub, so cute!
p.s. Lydia's mom makes adorable hair bows, check it out...www.chickpeahairbows.blogspot.com Despite the fact that Lucy will not usually wear hair bows, I could not resist the valentine's one, SOLD!! :)

a coat
This is a follow up on the previous blog, "snow fun." It has been brought to my attention that there is one major item missing from these pictures... A COAT. Yep, I am a first time snow mom and did not put a coat on Lucy today. In my defense, after the twenty minute process getting all of her layers on; a turtle neck, hooded sweatshirt, pants, socks, boots, snowsuit, hat and gloves, I couldn't get her little coat over it all. The girl was already close enough to Randy on Christmas Story, so out we went. I am feeling like an --- and praying to God that she does not end up sick. So, to all of you that looked twice at the photo, yes, there was no coat, please forgive me. Next time Lucy goes out to play in the snow, pictures will be posted... and you can only imagine what a little marshmallow she'll look like!

cleaning with vinegar
Okay ladies...I listened to you and just finished cleaning my wood floors with vinegar and water. I must admit, they seem very clean. I am not sure that it is something I'll be doing regularly, the mop and squirt is just too convenient! I also have to side with Suz, that the smell of vinegar just doesn't scream "clean" like my squirt and I am a girl that likes the smell of clean. So, I will try to get the vinegar out once every month or so. TGIF, hope everyone has a good weekend!
