Today Lucy had some shots and I was feeling really guilty this round, so on the way home I decided to get her one of her favorite things, ketchup(a.k.a. "dip".) As we know, most fast food stops have ketchup for fries and there is a McDonald's practically next to our house so I decided I'd swing in and get Lucy a ketchup and fries treat from Micky D's. As I am in the drive through, I realize that she would also have another prize if I ordered her a happy meal. So, we came home with our cheeseburger happy meal of which I figured she would eat mostly ketchup, maybe three or four fries..... NOPE, she ate almost an ENTIRE cheeseburger! Now, for those of you that keep up with Lucy's eating habits, you'll know this was a total shock to me, since the girl will NOT eat meat except for a random bite of sloppy joe. McDONALD'S....grrrrrrrrrrr! How do they do it? So, here are some pictures of my sweet girl, happy as a clam, having her cheeseburger and holding her new my little pony ... you would never know the girl just had her shots! I am such a sucker.

It's official, the princess has a castle! Grandma and Grandpa came over last night so we could have a date and they brought this fun tent for Lucy. As you can see, she had tons of fun! The last pic is her this morning watching her cartoons in it. Gotta go, she is asking me to come inside her castle...not sure I'll fit, but I am going to try! :)

This is a family heirloom that I decided to get out today. Lucy was so excited, she is OBSESSED over it, she has not left the table since I brought it downstairs, it is so cute.

mail from Romania

We got two packages in the mail today filled with fun prizes from Romania! Everything is beautiful. Lucy loves all her shoes! Lucy's Great Aunt and Uncle also sent a cross charm from their Church, she will treasure it always. Thank you to all our friends and family in Romania and Grandma for sending so many thoughtful things, we are so blessed.

I took Lucy up to Grandma and Grandpa's this afternoon/evening, she had so much fun. The fall leaves were beautiful today. Lucy is in bed now, so Mommy is off to enjoy some pampering and a good movie! BLISS.

Daddy is in B-town for homecoming, I am guessing he is 4.0 by now and wondering if he even made it into the game? LOL, so fun to re-live the college scene...however, recovery is not as easy as it was back then, it will probably be a long Sunday at our house!

p.s. check out L's new coat and hat, so adorable, I love my sweet girl looking so grown up!

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend! Lucy had so much fun running around the pumpkins, she liked sitting on them, it was hilarious. She went on her first pony ride(holding on to Daddy with a death grip), and liked seeing the farm animals too. The picture of my dad and husband trying to lift a pumpkin, that would be the one that I picked out, it is HUGE!

Here are some more pictures from our rainy day at home... I had to post the first one, if you look close, Lucy's tongue is out just like "puppy's", she loves walking her puppy around the kitchen. Second picture is her sitting in a storage tub, yep, with all her toys she is happy with the things that are not toys at all. The third picture is one Lucy took of Mommy and since I have had some requests to see me in some photos, I thought I'd post one Lucy took! TGIF, off to watch a movie with my Hubby...third rental for this one, we are determined to actually watch it before we return it to RedBox.

It's a rainy day, so we made a halloween bat mobile! Those bats are the hands of Lucy, Daddy, Mommy and the little one Lucy's holding is Bitty's traced hands (Lucy's favorite baby doll)! SO FUN!!! TGIF, hope everyone has a SUPER weekend!

Some of our neighbor kids, Evan and Ella, came over yesterday to play... Evan and Lucy enjoyed their snack together in this chair that was perfect size for both of them to sit side by side. Too cute!

Lucy and Grandma C. had some fun sticker time today! All 64 stickers were strategically placed somewhere...one made it to Grandma's nose, but most went to the pages of an activity book. Lucy also attempted to sing, "Tomorrow" from the movie Annie, SO CUTE!!!

*we will be blogging a lot in the next couple weeks, Lucy's Grandma B. is in Romania and we want to be sure she gets lots of Lucy love while she is overseas.

a day with Pa Pa

What a perfect way to enter the fall season, spending the day at Pa Pa's house! Lucy and some of her cousin's spent the day exploring, riding to "horn hill", sitting on tractors and picking up pine cones on the golf cart. Grandpa also installed a tree swing at just the right height for Lucy, she LOVED it so much! There is something so refreshing for me to see kids enjoying the outdoors. Thanks to that, she is now sleeping like a log...and that is refreshing too! :)
