Daddy is home, yippeeee! Uncle Marcus survived his bachelor party...less than four weeks until the wedding! :)

Boys are away....we can play too! The future Mrs. Colson and I are enjoying our Gin Slushies, hope the boys are jealous!!!

crafting with Grandma

Lucy made a stepping stone today with Grandma. Lucy didn't think the footprint part was that fun, but the stone ended up so cute! Thanks for the great craft day Grandma!

3:30 a.m.

My sweet girl is cutting 4 very painful teeth. Last night they got her up at 3:30 a.m.! Yeah, yikes. So, there I was at 3:30 and I was wondering if my hubby had even gone to bed yet, guessing he was living it up in Memphis. Not to my surprise, I got some entertaining emails this morning giving me an even better guess that yes, at 3:30 a.m., Daddy had not even gone to bed yet! WOW!
Thank goodness, Lucy got back to sleep until 7:30 and woke up happy as usual. The question now is.... how is Daddy feeling this morning?

Sweet at dinner

Lucy was after Grandpa's heart tonight at dinner leaning in giving him love.

miss brave

Lucy is getting so brave at the park, it is so fun to see her explore on her own. Today she had her tongue hanging out of the corner of her mouth, she was trying so hard to get up to the top of the slide by herself. I couldn't get a picture of the tongue, but here is the cutie at the top!

Is it wrong that I just put my daughter to bed with... 2 baby dolls, 1 bear, 1 bunny, 1 blanket and 5 pacifiers?? Hilarious.

play time

Lucy had a great day playing with friends. Yes, she is the naked one....mommy didn't have a suit for her. Driveway swimming pool fun, thanks Mrs. Brandi, you always have the cool stuff!

daddy time

Daddy left today for Memphis...we'll miss you! Happy bachelor party to Uncle Marcus, I hope he comes back and is able to recover in time for his wedding!
Funny note: Lucy was in her crib this morning for a nap and I heard her over the monitor singing her favorite song, "boom boom boom!"

Baseball

We went to the Indians game today, Lucy loved running around playing and seeing all the people. She was not interested in her ball and glove...so, there is still hope she wants to be a ballerina! :) Daddy tried to throw some fire, now his shoulder is burning in pain! ouch, LOL.

The State Fair

Lucy rode the train to the State Fair today with Grandpa! We saw cows, pigs and played "helping hands" on a farm where she earned payment for all her hard work, it was so cute she loved all the animals and does a really good "MOOOOooo!"

Cape Cod

We had an amazing week in Cape Cod, thank you Grandma!!!
Lucy had so much fun with with her cousins. Skipping rocks and playing in the ocean was awesome! We also discovered Aunt JuJu can limbo with a cocktail(see picture below)!

Sunday with cousins

Lucy had a perfect Sunday afternoon with her cousins Max and Will. First we all went to the park, Lucy tried her first swing at a wiffle ball, she was more interested in the ball than the bat. After the park we ate lunch outside and then stopped at the ice cream shop for a treat!
