Fishy

Lucy's trip to the fair tonight was a big hit, running around with baby pigs, goats, sheep and a pony! She mostly liked the baby pigs, my guess is she thought it was a mini Georgie(our dog). She seemed a bit confused why all the ducks didn't look like the yellow ones in her books. Lucy tried her first elephant ear and of course mommy was a sucker for the goldfish game, so we came home with Lucy's pet Fishy. Yes, we now have a fish named Fishy. Thank you Grandma for a fun trip to the fair!

Her Hot Rod

Mommy FOUND this car, so it quickly became Lucy's new hot rod! A pedal car that is in mint condition was too good to pass up since mommy grew up with one too. Lucy drove it over to the neighbors yesterday to pick up a boy!

school bus time

Today Lucy got to spend some time with Grandma Cline at the Bus Lot. Lucy said "wow" when she got on the big yellow bus, it was so fun to see her sit in a seat like she was ready to go to school.

Tues. Night Concerts

Tuesday nights in town is concert night! More children are out than adults, Lucy LOVES it. Dancing is one of her favorite things! Of course, she loves the attention from the other kids too. This is her girlfriend Kaitlynn and holding her in the second picture is her friend Joe. Look closely, Joe just got BRACES today! :)

Family Reunion

We had a blast at our 2009 family reunion! Lucy loved every minute of spending time with family and running around. Whether it was the family olympics, the limbo line, the meals together, the kickball and softball games, the stories and laughter, it was great to be together. I am also including the famous family photo that I so gracefully slid into on the first try of running from the camera into the picture. Yeah, it was a beauty, and so are my bruises and sore muscles. Hilarous. Thank you again to Angie and all who made an effort to be a part of this weekend. To those who couldn't be there, you were missed and we will for sure have many more of these, so next time, be sure you are there!

I had a perfect birthday.... Lucy and I took a long walk this morning and then we all went to the pool today(even Daddy, he took the day off work)! Lucy fell asleep on the ride home from the pool, which was the sweetest birthday treat, carrying her in sleeping on my shoulder, I am a sucker for that moment. Tonight my honey took me out for a fabulous dinner, YUM! Thank you all for birthday wishes, my day was so special! :)

Happy 4th of July!!!
Although it has rained all day, we are having fun. Tonight we cook out with our neighbors and see what Lucy thinks of sparklers.
