we're back!

We made it back from Grandma B's, it was an amazing trip, I will post pictures soon! Why will I be posting pictures later...because I forgot my memory card at my Mom's(long story). Playing catch up today.

We are off to Grandma B's house tomorrow, Lucy and Mommy are having a long weekend away! I have the Ipod loaded with cartoons for the airplane ride. It is actually Lucy's third trip to Grandma's house, but this time will probably be different now that she is a bit older and walking...

2 YEARS!!!

Happy 2nd Anniversary to us! #2 is Cotton....so my hubby finally got the footy pajamas he has wanted since he discovered them for our daughter! Hilarious!

Just got home from a Kiln Creations girls night, a paint your own pottery studio. I really think they* are on to something with the whole, painting/coloring being an avenue to unwind. It was a really nice evening, very relaxing. I am not sure what my pottery piece will end up looking like, but it was worth it for my Mommy time.

*"they" is the term I use when I am referencing something I have heard or read somewhere, my husband says "they" is Dr. Phil and Oprah! "They" will probably come up a lot in my blog :)

Mother's Day at the Zoo

We had an amazing day at the zoo, Lucy LOVED all the animals. I am the happiest Mom and thank God for my daughter. I hope all the mom's in the world had a fantastic day.

I already ache from head to toe...I just finished painting a wall in my living room. ONE wall and my body cannot take it, painters must be in the best shape. Now I am going to sit on the couch and eat a piece of apple pie that my honey brought home for my Mother's Day week indulgence, the man knows how to go straight to my heart! :)

I am feeling like Lucy is looking older today... could be her new fun salsa top that she is wearing...do they make these in adult sizes? How about her grin, love it!

summer nights

What a perfect evening last night, Lucy enjoyed some swing set time and then we had steaks and margarita's....so fun! Well, Lucy didn't have steak, but she did have corn casserole for the first time, loved it. As for our grilling, it had to be done inside, the big Weber died. And, as fate would have it, Tanya sold the other grill we had in the garage sale Saturday for TEN dollars! Bummer. Looks like we're in the market for a grill.
