New Year's at noon

We celebrated New Year's family style this year...at Noon! These are our neighbors who came over to countdown with us, it was so much fun, Lucy just had a ball with the hats and noise makers. Happy New Year everyone, we wish you a healthy 2010!

Lucy had a fantastic Christmas, she loved every minute of opening. I hope everyone enjoys the last week of 2009! p.s. I attached the last photo because it reminds me of the "where's Waldo" books...Lucy is in the picture, can you find her?

BINGO!

Well, Mommy got out tonight.... in honor of my Grandma B. I went and played BINGO! Loved every second and I know my g'ma was smiling down from heaven, she was a bingo fanatic. Was I the youngest person there, yes. Let me tell ya, these women don't mess around, I was tense most of the time trying to keep up... 24 cards a game baby! Will I go back... You better believe it, I am hooked!

Hi Bloggers! We had a rough start to December, sorry I have not posted a blog in so long. I am happy to report everyone healthy and ready to end the year with a special Christmas. p.s. Buni(grandma in Romanian) arrives with sparkle shoes and hugs galore! What a great first day, we have played outside, danced and Grandma even did Daddy's workout with him this morning!

Lucy had Brandon and Makena(twins) over today to play! It was so much fun, but hard to get a picture of all three together, they were very busy. Jen also left me with pumpkin oatmeal muffins, TO DIE FOR, everyone should make them, YUM, they will be gone very soon!

Jake came over today and introduced Lucy to play dough. She loved, it of course. Looks like it's going on Santa's list...MAYBE(messy but fun)!!

We went to the zoo today with my cousin's kids and my Aunt Joanie, even baby Max was with us, all the way from Chicago! Lucy had so much fun, the petting zoo area was her favorite! Here is the crew at the elephant window.

Today Lucy had some shots and I was feeling really guilty this round, so on the way home I decided to get her one of her favorite things, ketchup(a.k.a. "dip".) As we know, most fast food stops have ketchup for fries and there is a McDonald's practically next to our house so I decided I'd swing in and get Lucy a ketchup and fries treat from Micky D's. As I am in the drive through, I realize that she would also have another prize if I ordered her a happy meal. So, we came home with our cheeseburger happy meal of which I figured she would eat mostly ketchup, maybe three or four fries..... NOPE, she ate almost an ENTIRE cheeseburger! Now, for those of you that keep up with Lucy's eating habits, you'll know this was a total shock to me, since the girl will NOT eat meat except for a random bite of sloppy joe. McDONALD'S....grrrrrrrrrrr! How do they do it? So, here are some pictures of my sweet girl, happy as a clam, having her cheeseburger and holding her new my little pony ... you would never know the girl just had her shots! I am such a sucker.

It's official, the princess has a castle! Grandma and Grandpa came over last night so we could have a date and they brought this fun tent for Lucy. As you can see, she had tons of fun! The last pic is her this morning watching her cartoons in it. Gotta go, she is asking me to come inside her castle...not sure I'll fit, but I am going to try! :)

This is a family heirloom that I decided to get out today. Lucy was so excited, she is OBSESSED over it, she has not left the table since I brought it downstairs, it is so cute.

We got two packages in the mail today filled with fun prizes from Romania! Everything is beautiful. Lucy loves all her shoes! Lucy's Great Aunt and Uncle also sent a cross charm from their Church, she will treasure it always. Thank you to all our friends and family in Romania and Grandma for sending so many thoughtful things, we are so blessed.
